The Mill in 1946
There has been a Mill on this site for over 900 years and it is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

In 1854 the mill was bequeathed to the nearby monks of Castle Acre Priory who used it to grind corn.

The present, striking white-washed building is mainly Georgian but some parts date back to Tudor times.

Original features include the wooden crown wheel and stones, which are a natural part of the reception room.

The current owner has lived in this happy place, for the last 25 years.
